Following their own trend of searching inspiration in the history of their homeland they present this collection based on the conquest of the island of Sicily by the Normans.

The Dolce & Gabbana Winter 2015 then draws its inspiration from the Norman kings: Roger I, Roger II, William I, William II, Tancredi, Henry VI, Frederick II and Manfred, as well as the architecture of Norman Sicily, especially in Palermo recognizable in the Palace the Normans, in Cathedral and Church of the Martorana.

Represent the Norman Sicily through the effigies of kings, knights and armor reproductions of Norman architecture(Dolce Gabbana, 2014).
